CT DiaGrit is a diamond plane- and fine grinding disc with a very good stock removal rate and achieves optimum edge sharpness and high durability. It replaces in many preparations, the rough- and fine grinding with SiC paper. They are available in grain sizes 80, 120, 220, 600 and 1200. By the brilliant colour-coding, it is very easy to see which CT DiaGrit-disc is being used.

 

 

 

Colour coding:

Red = CT DiaGrit #80
    Gold = CT DiaGrit #120
       Green = CT DiaGrit #220
          Blew = CT DiaGrit # 600

             Black = CT DiaGrit #1200

The new version of the CT DiaGrits ensures even abrasion of the abrasive surface, because the concentration was adjusted to the diamonds in the grinding dynamics. The new CT DiaGrit is divided into three zones, i.e. in the zone with the highest abrasive the diamond concentration is highest, so that an even abrasion is guaranteed for best grinding conditions.

All CT DiaGrits are corrosion resistant and all are adaptable to an MD-disc, as well as also MAGAS and CT GriFin. Since the disc is very stable, it was no longer possible to produce them with a rounded edge. CT DiaGrits are suitable for materials with hardness from 150 to 2000 HV.

Also new and available: CT DiaGrit PLUS with a 100% increase in diamond concentration - for longer life and abrasive removal!

DIPLAS Ni is a newly developed diamond plane grinding disc with diamonds bound in nickel, that replaces SiC – paper in many fields of plain and fine sanding. Areas of application are: all short span forming materials, as e.g. steel, cast alloys, ceramics, hard metals, glass and mineralogical materials. Not for austenitic steels, titanium alloys and nickel-based alloys suitable because of disc wear is higher. The advantage as opposed to other plane grinding discs available on the market is that with DIPLAS Ni a 4-5 times higher surface removal rate can be achieved. The disc also allows small test diameters, as no great spaces exist on the disc. DIPLAS Ni achieves optimal edge sharpness in very short time. No changing of sandpaper is necessary. DIPLAS Ni is characterized by a very high endurance opposite traditional plane grinding discs. DIPLAS Ni with the optimal price/performance ratio. DIPLAS Ni gives it in the sizes ø 200, 250 and 300 mm and in the grain sizes 120, 200, 400, 600 and 1000. DIPLAS Ni was developed for the manual and automatic sample preparation. DIPLAS Ni is available with rear tie coat, so that it is usable with adapter discs on existing magnetic systems, or on carrier discs with rounded rims.

Areas of application are: all short span forming materials, e.g. steel, cast alloys, ceramics, hard metals, glass and mineralogical materials. Not for austenitic steels, titanium alloys and nickel-based alloys suitable because of wheel wear is higher.

 

 

 

 

Fine grinding discs

CT GriFin 9 (FEGAS) replaces the further grinding with SiC-paper (2-4 grinding steps).
CT GriFin 9 (FEGAS) achieves a high material removal and perfect flatness over complete sample cross-section.
After a preparation step with CT GriFin 9 (FEGAS), the sample is prepared already optimal for polishing.

CT GriFin Soft 9 replaces the further grinding with SiC-paper (2-4 grinding steps).

CT GriFin Soft 9 achieves a high material removal and perfect flatness over complete sample cross-section. After a preparation step with CT GriFin Soft 9, the sample is prepared already optimally for polishing.
